Orion women in the Kelvin Timeline (aka JJ-verse)

Roberto Orci, who wrote Star Trek (2009) said that Uhura's Orion roommate Gaila, who helped Kirk cheat (and made out with him in her underwear), could have escaped humanoid trafficking.
